FOREWORD

__The purpose of this website is to create among the ~1200 "THUET" living all over the world, an interest for the history and the future of our great family.
__It is necessary to make a thorough registration of the family members to best complete the database and give a faithful picture of the numerous descendants of our Swiss ancestors.
__In order to ensure confidentiality and in respect with individual wishes, only selected information will be published. Any change should be brought to the attention of the webmaster.
__The detailed portions of the genealogical tree will be communicated and published online with the prior approval of the persons concerned.
__ I would like to thank my far cousins who kindly helped me by providing information about themselves and their relatives. A special thank to Michel THUET who lives in St Amand Morond, for having remitted to me his complete files regarding the Picardy and Pays-de-la-Loire families.
